Cygnus Instruments offers a variety of gauges that can be used in the Pipeline Industry by maintenance, engineering or corrosion staff to determine if adequate wall thickness remains to maintain pipe or tank integrity. These gauges are extremely useful in determining the integrity of a pipeline after damage resulting from a line hit, external or internal corrosion or wear abrasion. They can also be used to check a pipe prior to the welding of hot taps, fittings, repairs or encirclement traps. Coatings such as paint, coal tar, tape wrap and fusion bonded coatings are ignored.
