NEW Cygnus 4 General Purpose

As our commitment to product development progresses, Cygnus is proud to announce the next new product - Cygnus 4 General Purpose is undergoing a series of field testing and rigorous examinations before the launch in the 3rd quarter. This forthcoming gauge is a total redesign incorporating customer feedback and suggestions on desired features. The features of the new Cygnus 4 include:

Rugged Aluminium Enclosure with rubber side grips. Enclosure Sealed to IP65. LCD Graphic Display with automatic white backlight. Simple gauge and menu operation with 3 tactile keys. Automatically detects and sets probe frequency. Probe connection via LEMO-1 connector on top of gauge. Multiple Echo detection with measurement verification. Supplied with Protective Silicone Sleeve and Neck Strap. Cygnus Echo-Strength bars assist thickness measurements. Minimum thickness alert function. Gauge BEEP on valid thickness measurements. 'Deep-Coat' mode for coatings up to 20mm thick. Power from 2 x AA batteries. Size 85 mm x 115 mm x 25 mm (3.3" x 4.5 " x 1.0 "), Weight around 275 g (inc. batteries). Compliance: CE, RoHS, BS EN 15317:2007. Supplied as a ready to use kit in a carry case.

With new generation of electronics, the Cygnus Underwater is equipped with the following NEW features.

Easy calibration using convenient buttons. “Deep-Coat” mode measuring through coatings up to 20mm thick. Auto-Probe Recognition (APR).

NEW Cygnus 2 Hands Free

Cygnus is pleased to announce the new Cygnus 2 gauge has been launched in March 2008. This new gauge has been developed after extensive customer consultation. Some of the features of the new gauge include:
